Trisha Krishnan familiarly known as Trisha was born on 4th May of 1983. She was born to Krishnan and Uma Krishnan in kerala, Palakkad, India. Trisha completed her early education from Church Park School and later she completed her higher education from Ethiraj College, Chennai. In her school age she used to contribute many cultural activities like sports, dances and school bands. Later on she started her career in modeling field and won the title Miss Salem in 1999, Miss Chennai in the same year and Miss beautiful smile in 2000.

At her early days in film industry Trisha did a small role in the tamil film Jodi. Her first movie in tamil as lead actress is under Prijadarshan’s direction named leysa leysa and the movie didn’t run well at Box-office. After that she acted 2 more pictures in tamil as a lead roles but unfortunately they both became disasters. After that she acted in “mounam pesiyadhe” opposite to the Surya and the picture became hit. It is the first hit of Trisha’s career.

After “mounam pesiyadhe” another biggest hit picture is “Saamy” opposite Vikram. Her next immediate biggest hit picture is “Ghilli” opposite Vijay which is a remake of telugu super duper hit “Okkadu”. After her three biggest hits in Tamil she turned to Tollywood industry.

She acted her first telugu picture opposite Prabhas in the movie “Varsham” and the film became the rocking hit in the year of 2004. Her first movie in telugu itself an industry hit of the year. After that in the year 2005 she acted another all time industry hit film “Nuvvu Vastaanante Nenu Vaddantaana” with hero Siddharth under the direction of dance master Prabhu Deva. In this movie she played a village girl character and fall in love with hero Siddharth who is a rich boy in US. But her brother opposes him as he belongs to rich family. The rest of the story is how Siddharth stayed in her home and won the heart of Srihari and marry Trisha. It is the best family entertainer of the year 2005 and Trisha won the Nandi Award for best p performance in this movie.

In the same year 2005 she acted another movie opposite Prince Mahesh Babu in the film “Athadu” and it bagged another hit in her career. After that she acted couple of films but they didn’t run well at Box-office. Again she acted a picture under the direction of Prabhu Deva with titled “Pournami” opposite Prabhas. The picture came under heavy expectations but unfortunately the picture became big disaster of the year. Later she acted a picture called “Stalin” opposite Megastar Chiranjeevi which became a big hit.

Her next film “Sainikudu” opposite Mahesh Babu was released on November 30, 2006. There were high expectations in the trade circles from this film especially after the smashing hit Pokiri, but this high budget film started off with below average reviews. Despite receiving bad reviews from the film trade, the film managed to get a decent opening in India and overseas. Her next release after Sainikudu was Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule where she was cast opposite Venkatesh under the direction of Selvaraghavan’s. This movie is the first telugu movie for Selvaraghavan. The film is a family entertainer and received good response especially from the family audience. Krishnan’s performance is one of the highlights of the movie.

After that she acted in the movie “Krishna” with Ravi Teja under the direction of V.V.Vinayak. It was released in Pongal holidays and it became biggest hit of the year. After that she acted another movie named “Bujjigadu” opposite Prabhas under the direction of star director Puri Jagannath. The film became a decent hit. After that she acted another movie named “King” with Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna under the direction of Srinu Vytla. It is also became decent hit in the recent times.

Trisha Krishan has already won a number of awards for her performances in various movies including four Film Fare Awards. As she is only 24 years old and has already made a good name in the film industry with her performance, she is supposed to have a long successful career in film industry.
