Born on 1988, Taapsee Pannu is an ethnic Punjabi gudiya hailing from the city of Ludhiana. This 22 years old charming young lady with a height of 5′ 7.6″ and a figure of 32 – 26 – 37 is the sensation among the youngsters in 2010.

Taapsee Pannu, the well known South Indian actress today started it all with dancing and modeling while pursuing her Engineering. Taapsee Pannu who is contributing to South Indian films as an actress is loved for her natural performance by the film fraternity of Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Even in her first tryst with the camera she who won rave reviews being beautiful as a natural performer.  The actress who debuted in Tamil Films with Aadukalam opposite Dhanush as an Anglo-Indian girl was directed by Vetrimaran. She also did a Telugu film Jummandhi Nadam opposite Manoj.

Taapsee who always ends up doing something which isn’t expected out of her is one who truly follows her heart. In taking up modeling as a career she had a hard time convincing her parents to get the green ticket. Soon she was flooded with offers from USI, World Gold Council, Vardhaman, Coca Cola etc and was successful in a very short time. The next step was obvious. The success at work convinced her parents and by the time of Miss India Contest they were even more enthusiastic than Taapsee. Being one among the top 29 finalists of Pantaloons Femina Miss India Contest 2008 Taapsee won two important titles – Pantaloon’s Femina Miss Fresh Face and Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin on April 05, 2008. From there with interesting experiences to treasure Taapsee have come long way accomplishing accolades.
