Siddharth who impressed girls with his cute and hot looks and his acting , is an actor in Indian film industry.He was born as Siddharth Suryanarayanan and popularly known as “Sidy on 17 April 1979 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, studied at DAV Boys’ Senior Secondary School, Chennai and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Delhi. He got his Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from Kirori Mal College, New Delhi and was also president of the college’s debating society and attended the World Debating Championships and is an MBA from S.P. Jain, Mumbai.Siddharth has also worked in advertisements for Idea Cellular and Peter England.

Before Siddharth started his career as hero he first worked as assistant director for Mani Ratnam’s  film Kannathil Muthamittal which was a huge hit.

S. Shankar who made movies like Indian and Jeans cast Siddharth in his movie Boys (Tamil, Telugu). Siddharth’s first lead role in Telugu film was Nuvvu Vastananate Nenu Vaddantana which was the first directorial debut of choreographer-turned-actor Prabhu Deva, became a commercial blockbuster for which Siddharth won the Best Actor Filmfare award.

His another Telugu film Chukkallo Chandrudu (2006) directed by Siva Kumar in which Siddharth sang as a playback singer.

Siddharth ‘s first  film in Bollywood  is Rang De Basanti starred Aamir Khan was a blockbuster and he received the Star Screen Debut Award for his role as Karan Singhania in the film.
He worked with director Vishal Bhardwaj and Oscar winning cinematographer Guillermo Navarro on a short film titled Blood Brothers screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Siddharth’s other films were Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam opposite Tamanna Oy!, opposite Shamili won box office success . His film Bommarillu  created an all time record with musical hit ,  cast Prakash raj, Genelia and Jayasudha has changed his career in films.

Siddharth acted in Prakash Kovelmundi’s fantasy epic Anaganaga O Dheerudu  produced by veteran K. Raghavendra Rao became hit.

He is married to Meghna and later divorced her.

With only few films Siddharth is rocking in the Indian film Industry.
