Tollywood film actor Ravi Teja is very famous for his action cum comedy roles the same film he enacts and became popular. He was born as Bhupatiraju Ravishankar Raju on 26th January 1968 in Jaggampeta of East Godavari Dist, AP. Ravi Teja’s father Rajgopal Raju was a Pharmacist and mother Rajya Lakshmi. Since from his childhood Ravi Teja was a naughty boy and same is seen in his films. Once Ravi Teja when he was 11 years old ran away from the house with a dream to become a star in Bollywood. Or sometimes he used to set fire to couches to enact action scenes. Such were naughty things Ravi Teja used to do as a child, this hyper activeness made him a very different actor in Tollywood.

Ravi Teja spent most of his time in North when he was a child as his father used to move to places very often on his work. Ravi Teja did his schooling at N.S.M public school and completed his Bachelors in Arts at Siddhartha Degree College in Vijayawada. But as he dreamt of acting in films Ravi Teja went to Chennai to start his career.

Earlier Ravi Teja struggled a lot to get a small chance to prove his talent for acting, as he had strong desire in acting he never give up even if didn’t get any chance he tried a lot.  Atlast he entered into filmy career with roles in films Premaku Velayara, Criminal, Aaj Ki Goondaraj. He even acted as villain in few films at the earlier stage.

Then Ravi Teja turned as Assistant Director, worked for both Television and films. He acted and worked as AD with director Krishna Vamsi who cast Ravi Teja in a small role in the movie Ninne Pelladatha. Then he continued with his assistant directory work.

Ravi Teja later acted as one of the lead roles in films like Sindhuram directed by Krishna Vamsi with whom he worked, next Padutha Thiyaga, Pattukondi Chuddam and premaku Velayara. And from there he got recognition as hero he continued his acting in the movies like Ammayi Kosam, Annayya , Tirumala Tirupati Venkatesa and Budget Padmanabam, in a small roles.

But his debut as hero was film Nee Kosam directed by Srinu Vaitla co-starred with actress Maheshwari became a musical hit film and was box office hit, This film made Telugu audience to recognize Ravi Teja as an actor.

Ravi Teja’s stardom started with his big break with film Itlu Sravani Subramanyam directed by Puri Jagannath, the film was well received by the audiences and gave Ravi Teja a great turning point in his career.

Ravi Teja later became a big star with the hit films like Idiot, Chanti, but his films Vikramarkudu and Krishna were block buster hits for his action in the role of a police officer just changed his complete image and made to reach to the top position stars list.

Later he Ravi Teja had to taste flops with films like Baladoor with Anuska, Film Neninthe reflects his own story in the starting of his film career, next Anjineyulu and he acted with Nayanathara.

Then Ravi Teja got another blockbuster with film Kick co-starred with Ileana. Ravi Teja then acted in film Dongala Mutha directed by Ram Gopal Varma which was shot in just 5 days with low bugget. Director Harish Shankar, Ravi Teja’s film Mirapakay, did average success. Then Ravi Teja appeared in Veera film, Ravi Teja acted in director Gunasekhar’s next movie is titled as Nippu produced by YVS Chowdary

Ravi Teja got married to Kalyani and the couple has two children. With his very kind and jovial in nature Ravi Teja is very affectionate to his family and friends both in personal and film field. Ravi Teja is very relaxated person and enjoying his position in the Tollywood film Industry for which he struggled a lot through his hard work.

Ravi Teja also acted in Malayalam and Kannada movies also. Now Ravi Teja is treated as versatile actor and is one of the top stars in the Tollywood film industry.
