Ram the Youngest Hero of south Indian film Industry, was born on 15 May 1988 as Pothineni Ram in Hyderabad, the nephew of Telugu producer Sravanti Ravi Kishore who owns ‘Sri Sravanti movies’ banner.

Ram had his complete education in Chennai.

His entered into film industry with a box office hit film Devadasu co-starred with new comer actress Ileana. The promising young star Ram has attained glory film in Telugu “Devadasu” from whom director and producers found a young and dynamic person with a lot of acting ability and dancing skills.

Ram’s hard work and the passion for acting made him identified by renowned director and producer Mr. Y.V.S Chowdary, for making his film “Devadasu” in the lead role with Ram’s obsessed with the career option of becoming an actor with a profound commitment and zeal with strenuous efforts made his mark in Tollywood films.

Then Ram got second film ‘Jagadam”, from another perfectionist director, Mr. Sukumar which again was a record for a newcomer, though the film did not do well at box office.

Ram’s next film ‘Ready’, along side Genelia, produced by Sravanti Ravi Kishore his uncle and directed by Srinu Vaitla became  one of the biggest hits in Telugu film industry and the reached the top grossers in USA.

Film ‘Maska’ his 4th film directed by B.Gopal and produced by ‘Movie Special’ M.S.Raju, its music was extra ordinary reached the expectations of youth of Andhra.

The movie had massive openings and collected more than any of his previous films, even though it was not the biggest hit in Ram’s film career.

Hero Ram was cast in Tamil director Sarvanan’s film, Rama Rama Krishna Krishna, produced by Dil Raju and directed by Srivas, his next film kandireega a Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual film with Gautam Menon.

Though Ram did very few films he has reached in the list of Top Heros with his young talent in acting.
