Manthra is known as Raasi in South Indian who has acted in a number of Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada movies. Her mother-tongue is Telugu. She attained popularity due to her glamour and exceptionally large bosoms. She acted in several movies in Telugu. Some of her movies are Love Today, and Kalyana Galatta, Rettai chada vayasu.

Raasi was born on 29, July 1981 to father D Venkatesh mother Nagamani in Andhra Pradesh. She has got one brother Vijay Krishna; she got married to Assistant Director
Srinivas.

The sexy Raasi was introduced in Tamil film “Priyam”. The movie did not fared well at the box office. So she changed her name from Mantra to Raasi when she made her debut in Tollywood with “Shubhakankshalu” starring opposite Jagapathi Babu.

The movie was a big hit and her histrionic talents were well received by the audience. Soon Raasi’s beauty and sexiness captured the attention of the industry and without much efforts she began to get offers in Tollywood.
