Chanti Addala failed Intermediate and went to Chennai and there he worked for about 170 films as art director. Later took up film production with cameraman Srinivasa Reddy.

Chanti Addala started his career as an art director and later became a producer of films like Aaro Pranam, Pavitra Prema, Krishna Babu, Bachi, Tirumal Tirupati Venkatesa, Adavi Ramudu, and Oka Oorilo. The industry is shocked, as Chanti is known to be a forthright person.

After working hard for 20 years in Telugu Film Industry as an assistant director, art director and director, this guy finally turned into a producer in 90s. Chanti Addala, who made films like Krishnababu with Balakrishna, Allari Ramudu with Jr NTR and Bachi with Jagapathi Babu is the most discussed producer then.
