Ambika Krishna was an Ex- MLA of Eluru Constituency. (1999-2004). Currently he is playing a key role in TDP party in West Godavari district and very close to Sri.Chandrababu Naidu and other important people in Indian politics.

Ambika Krishna was the member of Sir C.R. Reddy College, Eluru, President of The Federation of West Godavari District Small Scale Industries – Eluru., VICE-PRESIDNET of A.P. Film Chamber Hyderabad (Producer Council). He is very active in several social activities all over West Godavari district.

Ambika Krishna entered into Telugu film industry with a banner Ambika cinema Productions Pvt.Ltd. and made movies starting Kanyadaanam to mega movie like Veera Bhadra. He is still actively involved with movie industry.
