Power Star of Tollywood film Industry Pawan Kalyan is an actor who creates trend with his movies and has huge fan following though he has very few hit films in his career.

Pawan Kalyan was born as Konidela Kalyan Babu on 2nd September 1971 in Mogalturu, West Godavari District, is the younger brother of Megastar Dr. Chiranjeevi who is a excellent actor and has another brother Nagendra Babu who is an actor-producer. His father Konidela Venkata Rao and mother Anjana Devi.

He did Diploma in the computer, learnt martial arts from his childhood and won an award as “Pawan” an alternate name of Lord Hanuman at Ravindra Bharathi from then he named as Pawan Kalyan.

Pawan Kalyan debuted into films with film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi was an average at box office. In this Pawan Kalyan has done some martial arts which really impressed audience His next films Gokulamlo Sitha and Suswagatham in which Pawan Kalyan showed his excellent performance as a hero.

He got his breakthrough with the film Tholi Prema was a first blockbuster in his career. With this, Pawan Kalyan was never seen back in his career and gave many blockbusters to the Tollywood industry with his films like Thammudu the remake of  Hindi film Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar as a boxer, he acted in film Badri in title role directed by Puri Jagannadh. And Pawan Kalyan‘s stardom started with film Kushi which was a sensational hit.

Later Pawan Kalyan had to get satisfied with average films like Johnny, a mass role in Gudumba Shankar with his own stunts, script and dance sequences composed by Pawan Kalyan only. Film Balu ABCDEFG directed by Karunakaran, producer A.M.Rathnam produced a film with Pawan Kalyan as Bangaram.

Pawan Kalyan got success with the film Annavaram after Kushi film.
Again he got blockbuster film as “Jalsa” with Illeana produced by Allu Aravind under Geetha Arts banner directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

Ganesh Babu who was an actor turned Producer made film with Pawan Kalyan titled Theenmaar directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee got very good reviews and was a commercial hit.

Pawan Kalyan got married twice, his first wife was Nandini, divorced her. And remarried to Renu Desai an actress. She designes costumes for most of Pawan Kalyan’s films The couple t has two children a son named Akira Nandanand daughter named Aadhya .

Pawan Kalyan is the founder of an organisation called Common Man Protection Force which solves the social problems and help the neglected sections of the society He even campaigned for his brother Chiranjeevi’s political party Praja Rajyam and was appointed as the president of Yuva Rajyam.

Pawan Kalyan has created unique style of acting in his films which made him a top hero in Tollywood and turned out as film actor, director, screenwriter and action choreographer for his films.
