Nayanthara Profile

Diana Mariam Kurian popularly known as Nayanathara was born on 18th November 1984 at Tiruvalla a small town in Kerala. She did her schooling at various parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, as her father was an Air Force Official. She joined Balikamadom High School, Thiruvalla for +2, then joined Marthoma college in Thiruvalla for her Bachelor’s degree. She was not able to continue with her C.A. studies though due to her film commitments. Nayanathara was chosen as 1st runner up in Best model Kerala 2003 which was conducted by Thrissur Advertising Club. This gave her few opportunities in modelling for adverisements. While she was studying in the college the Malayala director Satyan Anthikkad saw her performance and gave the first chance opposite Jayaram in Mansinakkare.

After started her film career in Malayalam she acted some more films in Tamil. Nayanathara’s entry to telugu film industry was made easy by the dubbed version of tamil film Chandramukhi, opposite the super star Rajinikanth which is one of the all time hit in Telugu film industry. After that she acted an another Tamil film named Ghajini opposite Surya. The same was dubbed in to Telugu with the same name and it also became the huge hit.

Her straight Telugu film was made by director V.V.Vinayak opposite Victory Venkatesh in the film named Lakshmi. It is also became one of the biggest hit of the year. She is said to have received many big offers after her Telugu super hit film Lakshmi. Nayantara has captured the hearts of Telugu moviegoers with her gorgeous looks and acting talent. With her attractive looks and amazing acting talent she is sure to capture the hearts of the audience down the south in the years to come.

After Lakshmi she acted another film named Boss opposite Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna under the direction of V.N.Adithya, but unfortunately it was not run well in the box office. But she got rare reviews from the film critics for her excellent performance.

After Boss she acted another film named Yogi opposite Prabhas under the direction of V.V.Vinayak. It also became big disaster of the year. Because of over sentiment in the movie it was not run well in the box office.

After the big disaster movie Yogi she got another opportunity in the movie Dubai Seenu under the direction of Sreenu Vytla. This time she paired with energetic star Ravi Teja. It became decent hit of the year. After several commercial successes such as Chandramukhi, Ghajini, Lakshmi, Dubai Seenu she has become one of the most wanted leading actresses in Telugu cinema.

After Dubai Seenu she acted another biggest hit film named Thulasi opposite Victory Venkatesh under the direction of Boyapati Srinu. It also became huge hit. After Thulasi she once again paired up with Ravi Teja for the movie Anjaneyulu. She acted well as a job holder in Airtel. It also runs well in the box office.

After some gap she acted in the film named Adurs opposite Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. The film is directed by V.V.Vinayak. It also became one of the huge hit and she is cloud nine after this big hit.
