Nagma Indian film star Nagma is a popular face of India was born on 25 Dec 1974, as Nandita Morarji. Nagma is a spiritual minded and read Qur’an, Bhagvad Gita and Bible. Nagma’s Father Sri Arvind Pratapsinh Morarji is a Hindu, he is a Hindu textile entrepreneur and mother Seema Sadhana is Muslim and one of Nagma’s Aunties is Christian as well.

After her parents divorced, her mother married Chander Sadhana who is a movie producer. Nagma has two half-sisters by her mother’s re-marriage called Jyothika and Radhika. Jyothika is an established actress. She also has two half-brothers, Dhanraj and Yuvraj, by her father’s second marriage.

Nagma, who has had a successful career in movies since she was sixteen years old, also runs a boutique in Mumbai called Nagma’s and is an Art of Living instructor.
She has been romantically linked with various men at various times like cricketers Khiche Khan and Saurav Ganguly as well as the Tamil actor Sarath Kumar.

Actress Nagma has acted in several Bollywood films, Tamil movies, Kannada cinemas, MaLisa Raylam films, Bengali cinema, Bhojpuri movies, Punjabi cinemas, and Marathi films.

Nandita Morarji (Namratha Sadhana) popularly known as Nagma is an Indian actress, known for her work in Bollywood and Kollywood. She has acted in Hindi, Tamil, Bollywood, Kannada, MaLisa Raylam, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, and now Marathi movies.

She is from North India, but is one of the most famous and well known actress in the south. She has done many movies in south and had a share luck of success. She is sister of bollywood actress Jyothika.

Started her filmi-career in her first movie “BAAGI” with the handsome “Salman Khan”. Though her films in the Bollywood didn’t fare quite good at the box office, she was so promising and down “South” she was a sensation.

She could find a haven in the “Bollywood” and “Tamil” Film Industry in “South” where she enjoyed quite a lot of films in the status of a fiery actress, good dancer and the glamour queen and ruled the scene for a long time that she’d been so close to the top position until she returned to the Bollywood to restore her flopped career. And Nagma could make it again with her determination towards her profession that she’s able to find some new films fell in her lap. The producers and the directors seemed to have a consideration for her welcoming her back to the Film Industry.

She acted with Nagarjuna in Killer (1991) and Major Chandrakanth (1992) with NTR and Mohan Babu.  She worked in Hindi and Bollywood movies like Parampara (1992), Kondapalli Raja (1993), Allari Alludu (1993) and King Uncle (1993).

In Kadhalan (1994), a Tamil movie, she acted with the debut hero Prabhu Deva. The movie was a blockbuster and she won the Filmfare Best Actress Award (Tamil). Basha (1995) with Rajnikanth was also a commercial success.

Nagma works so hard making a great effort to put the best talents on screen and she did so in the “South” but couldn’t live it up to the end. One has to watch as to how she would get the kind of film life in Bollywood that she had in the “South”.

After doing more than 50 films in Hindi and regional languages actress Nagma is attached with Indian Politics now.

For over a decade, Nagma ruled the Indian film industry as the “Queen of the South,” delivering one hit after the other, and later assumed a similar leadership position in the northern Indian film industry. Thanks to her amazing career, Nagma is today instantly recognizable not just across the nation but the world.
