Music Director Koti Profile

Saluri Koteswara Rao popularly known as Koti, is an Indian composer notable for his work in the South Indian film industry. He has composed music for more than 350 movies in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. He is a Telugu film composer and also singer.

Koti, is the son of veteran music director Saluri Rajeswara Rao.

In early 1980s Koti teamed with Somaraju, son of T. V. Raju, and the resulting duo was known as Raj-Koti and gave many hit songs for the films like Hello Brother, Naa Pilupe Prabhanjanam, Jayammu Nishayammura, Bhale Bullodu, Bangaru Kutumbam, Bala Gopaludu, Trinetrudu, Paramasivudu, Jamba Lakidi Pamba, Collector Gaari Alludu, Balarama Krishnulu , Arundathi and many more hit movies.

Later, the two split up and started composing independently

Koti became a popular music director in Telugu film industry while Raj did not fare well except for a few songs.
Koti composed many hit songs and very good music for Mega star Chiranjeevi movies.
