Keeravani born on 04 July is a National Film Award winning music composer in India, who works in Hindi cinema, Telugu cinema, Tamil cinema, Kannada cinema and Malayalam cinema.

His original name is M. M. Kreem alias Maragadamani alias M. M. Keera Vaan.

Keeravani is known for his own footprint in Telugu film industry with his compilations for movies like Annamayya (Telugu film). Being the finest music directors in Telugu Film Industry is also a singer.

Keeravani’s journey to success has been long. After much hardship, his music for Ramoji Rao’s Manasu Mamata brought him the fame and recognition he craved for.

Keeravani composed music for the Telugu-Hindi bilingual movie Criminal starring Nagarjuna and Manisha Koirala. The number Tu mile dil khile aur jeene ko kya chahiye
He has given music in Hindi films such as Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin (1996), Sur, Zakhm, Saaya, Jism, Criminal, Rog and Paheli.

In Malayalam, Keeravani has scored for landmark films like Nilagiri, Soorya Manasam, Devaraagam etc which won great critical acclaim.

Tollywood director S.S. Rajamouli is his cousin. His youngest brother Kalyan Malik (a music composer), S.S.Kanchi (Actor – Amrutham (telugu serial) Fame), are all dedicated to the film industry. His sister M. M. Sreelekha is also a music director.

Keeravani’s favorite music composers range from R.D. Burman and Kishori Amonkar to K.V. Mahadevan and M.S. Viswanathan. He loves ghazals. He believes in Swami Vivekananda and Osho – to live by a goal and celebrate is what he aims to do with his life.

Keeravani has composed music for 199 films in various Indian languages and is still actively composing music for several upcoming films.
