Dialogue King Mohan Babu is a very famous South Indian actor mostly acted in Tollywood films. He is also has Collection King and Nataprapoorna by Tollywood industry.

Mohan Babu was born on 19th March 1952 as Manchu Bhaktavatsalam Naidu to Manchu Narayanaswamy Naidu and Lakshmamma at Modhugulapalem village in AP. He has three younger brothers and a sister named Vijaya.He did his schooling from Yerpedu village, Tirupati and completed degree in Physical Education from Chennai and also worked as a physical training instructor in YMCA College, Madras.

Before Mohan Babu entered into acting career he worked as an Assistant Director for a few years with director Lakshmi Deepak, and finally got a break in Dr. Narayana Rao Dasari’s film.

He made his debut as an actor with the film Swargam Narakam in (1975) and debuted in the Tamil film Annan Oru Kovil alongside the legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan. Earlier of his acting career Mohan Babu went on to appear in villain roles in Tamil and Telugu about in 20 films.

And from there Mohan Babu has made 502 films in the 25 years since he began working in the industry, 80 of them in lead role, and has 20 Tamil films to his credit.

He has produced around 30 movies. Prathigna (1983) was his first hit film. Major Chandrakanth was a tribute to actor Dr. Rama Rao Taraka Nandamuri.

Mohan Babu started with small negative roles some of his hit movies are Anomaly (1997), and Assembly Rowdy, Kodama Simham (1982), Khaidi No.786 (1988), Major Chandrakanth (1993), Brahma (1992). In Peda Rayudu (1995) the actor played a dual role.

Mohan Babu married to Nirmala Devi and they have three children, Lakshmi Prasanna, Vishnu Manchu, and Manchu Manoj Kumar. Both his sons and daughter are related to film industry, his sons became famous actors and his daughter does very popular shows in Televisionas anchor interviewing famous personalities in the society, and acting in films.

Mohan babu is known for his short temper as he ended up in a controversy after he slapped the actress who acted in his son’s debut when she could not act properly for a scene.

He is very famous for his Punch dialogue delivery in his movies and evolved as one of the most vibrant personalities in Andhra Pradesh.

Mohan Babu was nominated to the Rajya Sabha in 1995 and had his tenure.
Mohan Babu established the Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust in 1992 the International School, Degree College, Engineering College, Pharmacy College and College for Nursing.
