Manoj born as Manchu Manoj Kumar Babu born on 20th May 1983 to a veteran actor Mohan Babu as younger son ,did his bachelors degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, He has got an elder sister Lakshmi Manchu and an elder brother Vishnu Manchu who is also an upcoming actor in Tollywood.

Manchu Manoj is familiar to Telugu audience right from his childhood. He played many roles as a child artist in his own banner movies when his father Mohan Babu is shown as a kid movie Punya Bhoomi Naa Deshm.

His debut film as a hero was Donga Dongadi which is remake from a Tamil movie called Thiruda Thirudi  was an average at the box office.  Manchu Manoj has produced many movies under the banner of Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.

Manchu Manoj acted in an experimental movie Nenu Meeku Telusa…? It was weaved on the basis of an English movie Clean Slate. It turned out to be an Average at the Box Office.

Film Prayanam gave Manchu Manoj much a break he needed though film  turned out to be a moderate hit at box office,Bindaas turned out to be a hit, receiving raving reviews for being a family entertainer.Film Vedam co-starred with Allu Arjun started a multi starrer trend , and was a successful movie.

Manchu Manoj  is one of the promising young star acting in Tamil and Telugu film industry.
