The Prince of Tollywood film industry is one of the famous and who as more female fan following is the young star Mahesh Babu affectinately called by Telugu audience as Prince Mahesh Babu, He is very tall handsome and charming person as it is inherited by his father Superstar Krishna who holds the same reputation in Telugu film industry who also had great female fan following of his time.

Mahesh Babu born  as Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu on 9th August 1974 at Chennai to Super Star Krishna and mother Indira devi, he was affectionately called by a nick name as  Naani by his family. He did education in Shanti Public School and completed B.Com graduation in Loyala College in Chennai.

Mahesh Babu entered into film his career from his childhood days as child artiste in his father’s film Needa, and several films like, Kodkulu Didhina kapuram, Balachandrudu, Gudachari 117, Mugguru Kodukulu and many more.

He debuted his first film as a young hero in “Rajakumarudu” co-starred with Preeti Zinta in the lead role, directed by veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao. The film was commercially successful Mahesh Babu won Nandi Award for Best Male Debut.  After that Mahesh Babu acted in films Yuvaraju and Vamsy which gave average success.

Mahesh Babu got his break through from his fourth film “Murari” costarred with Sonali Bindre in lead role, directed by the creative director “Krishna Vamsi” established himself as hero with good acting skills.

Though his next films Takkari Donga and Bobby did not do well but his stardom started with and Mahesh Babu got compliments from the audience. Mahesh Babu’s film “Okkadu” with actress Bhomika directed by Gunasekhar and produced by MS Raju on the banner of Sumanth Arts created a sensation in the Tollywood Industry with is blockbuster hit..

Film Nijam directed by Teja, was a flop at Box office for Mahesh Babu, but he won the most prestigious “Nandi Award” for his excellent performance. His average hit films were Naani and Arjun

Mahesh Babu acted in another blockbuster musical hit film Athadu produced by Murali Mohan and directed by Trivikram Srinivas where actress Trisha acted in a lead role. And Mahesh Babu once again won “Nandi Award” and Film Fare award for his excellent performance as a best actor category.

Mahesh Babu’s career turned out as never defeating in films with a sensational film “Pokiri” produced and directed by Puri Jagannath breaking all the records of 75 years of Telugu film industry creating new records.  Next he acted in film with Trivikram Srinivas Khaleja opposite Anushka Shetty was a disaster for him.

Mahesh Babu got married bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar and the couple blessed with a son Ghattamaneni Gautham.

Mahesh Babu never repeats his heroines in his films.

Apart from films Mahesh Babu is seen in many commercial ads like Navatna Oil, Vivel Pro Shampoo and Brand ambassador of Thums Up, Idea Network and many others in AP.
