Kushbu Sundar a Muslim by birth, converted to Hinduism, Khushboo is more than just a pretty actress and has acquired a goddess status in the southern states of India.

Kushbu was born Khushboo Khan on 29th September 1970. who grew up to be Khushboo, was born on 29th September 1970 in Mumbai. Of her three brothers, only one – Abdullah – has decided to take a plunge into acting with the debut Netru Pol Inru Illai.

There were several strong rumours that the actress was married to Prabhu Ganesan who is Sivaji Ganesan’s son.

She converted to Hinduism when she married Sundar C, a director and actor. The couples have two daughters, Avanthika and Ananditha.

Kushboo, a celluloid angel of south, initially worked as an airhostess with Cathay Pacific. She started her film career in Bollywood. Later moved to Telugu, Kannada and finally Tamil.

She started her career in the eighties as a child artist. Her first movie was Thodisi Bewafaii (1980) where she had an uncredited appearance. Later, in 1981, she had her first role in Laawaris. Since then, she has played in over 100 movies, some of them opposite popular Tamil actors like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Prabhu. She is known for her TV show Jackpot and her serials Kalki, Janani and Kungumam. Apart from Tamil movies, she also acted in various movies in Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam.

Kushboo was introduced to South Indian by the Kannada actor-director Ravichandran. She has acted in many movies with him notably Ranadheera (1987), Anjada Gandu, Shanthi Kranthi and Yugapurusha. Khushboo has widely been recognized as a bold on screen protagonist.

Kushboo was introduced to South India through the Telugu movie Kaliyuga Pandavulu Opp Venkatesh, under the direction of K Raghavendra Rao She was one of the judges in the dance show maanada mayilada on Kalaignar TV. Along with famous choreographer Kala Master and actress Kushboo.
