| After a long gap Nagarjuna lead the role of Ramesh in Kedi Movie. We can appreciate the producer that he agreed to do the film like this. He wanted to produce the film with high technical values but it became big disaster of this year. To be frank Kiran who is the debutant director sticks to his roots. If you want to see a big hero looks in TV serials then watch this Kedi Movie.
If we want to say about the story mainly the screenplay and characterizations are based on ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’. Mainly there are three characters one is Ramesh (Nagarjuna) who is dynamic Kedi on the run, Second one is Shekar Rameshsetty (Sayaji Shinde) who is a the Assistance Commissioner of Police and the third one is Chandra (Ankur Vikal) who is a criminal in Goa. The film starts with Shekar Rameshsetty who wants to catch Rummy who is nothing but Ramesh as the local people calls him as Rummy. After catching Rummy and after arresting Rummy, in the investigating he disclose every thing that he is from Guntur, and he ran away from his home in the teenage and came to Goa. After that he settled in Hyderabd.
Terrorist angle also added in the movie by the director. The interesting aspect of the movie is that both hero and cop characters are realistic. Cop doesn’t hold any personal grudge in thief and he treat hero as a human being. Mamatha Mohandas played the female lead of Nagarjuna and she performed well in the movie.
The film maker has come up with a different theme and both the presentation and narrative have been okay. The debutant director Kiran tried to make the screenplay with different manner but somewhere he failed to do that. The dialogues were neat, the script was average. Music by Sandeep Chowta is adequate. Cinematography done by Sarvesh Murari was top notch. Editing could have been better. Costumes were rich and the art department was pretty creative. Stunts are realistic.
The first half of the movie is neat and able to watch. Second half of the movie is big disappointing. We must appreciate Nagarjuna for doing such kind of movie. The debutant director Kiran didn’t handle the screenplay well and it becomes an uninteresting far. Watch it but if u have some good patience |
