Kalyan Ram Profile

Kalyan Ram born as Nandamuri Kalyan Ram to Nandamuri Harikrishna, Lakshmi and is one of the grandsons of the veteran actor late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, founder of the Telugu Desam Party, and the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Kalyan Ram studied in St. Pauls, Hyderabad and KCP Siddardha Adarsh Residential School, Kanur (Vijayawada), he did his intermediate in Vikas college, Engineering in Coimbatore and completed Masters in Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago.

As an actor with Toli choopulone (2003) produced by Ramoji Rao. Abhimanyu(2004) produced by Ashwini Dutt Kalyan Ram debuted his films.

Due to his first two films were failures Kalyan Ram established his own banner NTR Arts under the name of his Legendary Grandfather NTR and Produced film Athanokkade introducing Surender Reddy as Director has created a block buster. And after this movie Kalyan Ram did films like Asadhyudu, Vijayadasami, Lakshmi Kalyanam with Teja which did not work well at box office.

Film Hare Ram under his own production proved Kalyan Ram as actor, and was well received by critics. Jayeebhava was another flop for Kalyan Ram, next director Gunasekhar KalyanRam ‘Kathi with Kalyan Ram was much hype about stealing the title, but was another flop film.

Kalyan Ram got married to Ms. Swathi and has got two kids. He has one brother Janaki Ram and one half brother Jr. NTR and one sister Suhasini. Actor Taraka Ratna is his cousin.

Now Kalyan Ram with his impressive acting and his production house is continuing at box office.
