Young dashing hero Jr. NTR from Tollywood is the grandson of legendary actor N.T. Rama Rao reminds his features and gestures, and is the son of Harikrishna and Shalini born as Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao popularly known as Jr. NTR, on May 20, 1983 in Hyderabad.

Jr. NTR did his schooling at Vidyaranya, Hyderabad and was very much influenced by his Grandfather from his childhood made him develope interest in cultural and social activities. He is a famous South Indian Classical dancer in Kuchipudi. Jr. NTR used to perform during his school days and stage shows at various places in India and abroad and won many awards.

Jr. NTR debuted into films as a child artiste in his grandfather’s film ‘Brahmarshi Viswamithra’. From there he played Lord Rama role in Bala Ramayanam with all-child cast.

In his youth Jr. NTR’s debut film as a hero “Ninnu choodalani” under the banner Ushakiron movies. He got break in films with the film Student No.1 become an instant hit. It was film Aadi that bought stardom for him with its blockbuster and created records, from where Jr. NTR reached to the top league of actors.

In the film Yamadonga, which gave a big break to Jr. NTR throughout hi four years film career. Jr. NTR turned as highly successful, a very talented artist, became the heartthrob of his fans proved himself as energetic, command in action, dances, fights and the charm with just only few movies in his credits. He even campaigned for the Telugu Desam Party during elections.

This young dynamic hero got married to Lakshmi Pranathi nephew of former AP chief minister Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu in 2011.
