A tall and handsome young action hero from Telugu film industry Gopichand whose looks attracts everyone of his fan. Gopichand born as Tottempudi Gopichand on 12th June 1982 in Hyderabad, AP. It’s not that he is not from filmy background, Gopichand is the son of famous director Tottempudi Krishna in the Tollywood .Gopichand lost his father at his early childhood at age of 8yrs and his brother T. Premchand who was worked as an associate director to Mutyala Subbayya made his debut as director and started working on a film under his home banner, whom Gopichand lost him in a car accident due to which he could not complete his Engineering degree in Russia. Gopichand has a sister who is a dentist.

After returning to India Gopichand though not interested in acting situations forced him to enter into acting career in films. He didn’t start directly as a hero in films Gopichand first entered into the film industry as a director of films, with the help of his guru Kakarala got trained in dialogue delivery according to his physic as he had very good body an action hero must have and also mentored Gopichand who now reached to a top hero’s position in Telugu film Industry.

Gopichand’s debut film Toli Valapu as hero, but he was not recognized. Next Gopichand acted in a villain role as debut in film Jayam for he won Nandi Award for Best Villain character. His action was perfect and terrored all the audience with this film. Then Gopichand continued with his villain role in few of his films like Nijam, and Varsham were super hit and he got much reputation for his action with these films.

Gopichand again tried his hand as hero with the film Yagnam though the film was an average hit he was well received by audience as hero. His breakthrough in films came with film Ranam opposite actress Kamna Jatmalani which was a blockbuster hit in his career.

His other hit films are Okkadunnadu film was around mafia and real estate. Then film Lakhshyam co-starred with Anushka and Jagapathi Babu was a blockbuster hit fetched Gopichand a lot of reputation, film Souryam where Gopichand acted as a police officer was an average hit but his action got accolades, Film Shankam co-starred with actress Trisha was a flop.

Gopichand at present the most famous action hero in Tollywood.
