Famous Popular Telugu Film Director and producer EVV Satyanarayana, died in Hyderabad this night. EVV introduced Pavan Kalyan (Akkada Abbai Ikkada Ammayi) to the silver screen.
EVV Satyanarayana (53), who had been ailing from mouth cancer for sometime, died due to cardiac arrest at Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills. EVV Satyanarayana was born at Korumamidi village in West Godavari district on June 10, 1958. He was admitted to hospital on Jan 19.
EVV Satyanarayana first film as a director was ‘Chevilo Puvvu’. He also directed Alluda Majaka, Aame, and came to fame with super hit film ‘Prema Khaidi’ starring Harish and Malasri. His first movie in comedy genre was Appula Apparao. He also started producing some films. Katti Kantharao was his last telugu film. He also directed sentimental movies like Kanyaadhaanam apart from commercial movies like Vaarasudu and Hello Brother.
EVV Satyanarayana is survived by wife Saraswathi, sons Aryan Rajesh and Allari Naresh, who are also in the film industry
