AVS is one of the popular names in Telugu cinema industry as a top Telugu comedian.
Aradhyula Venkata Subrahmanyam alias AVS belongs to Tenali, Andhra Pradesh.

AVS himself proved as a good comedian and won the hearts of audiences with his inimitable style of comedy.

AVS had started his career as a journalist and later entered into films.
AVS started his film career with the movie made his debut into films through ‘Srinatha Kavi Sarvabhoumudu’. However, the first film that hit the screen was ‘‘Mr Pellam’ and this was a remarkable character with his own way of dialogue delivery.
He had also received Nandi award for this movie. This movie was directed by Sri Bapu garu.

AVS also tried his hand as a director through ‘Super Heroes, Ori Nee Prema Bangaram Kaanu and Roommates’.

Whenever there were stage shows and other such big film events, he used to play as the anchor.

AVS had played many remarkable comedy characters in the direction of S.V. Krishna Reddy. The comedy role played by him in the movie ‘Subhalagnam’ is a full length comedy role, especially the comedy between Brahmanandam and him and between Tanikella Bharani and him is hilarious when he is asking non stop questions and finally ending with a un answerable question makes telugu comedy lovers to enjoy a lot.

Another remarkable character played by AVS in the movie Ghatothkachudu and from this movie onwards the dialogue “Rangu Paduddi” is famous.directed by S.V. Krishna Reddy.
