Sundaram Master as he is affectionately called in the film industry is a living legend, who has worked with all the senior directors in the South Indian Film industry, He is known for his variety of Choreography.

Sundaram Master has choreographed in 6 languages, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Bengali and has worked in over 1000 films.

Sundaram Master has choreographed the maximum number of songs for M G Ramachandran, Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan, Nagesh, N.T Rama Rao, Chiranjeevi, Nagarujuna, Superstar Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan, etc.

Sundaram Master worked with ace director Maniratnam in his first film Pallavi Anu Pallavi and continued in films like Agni Natchatram, Bombay, Roja, Thalapathi, Mouna Raagam. In 1994, for the first time National Award was presented to the choreographer’s category and Sundaram Master was the first to win this prestigious award.

His lineage of dance has been carried out most successfully by his sons Actor, Director and choreographer, Raju Sundaram and Actor-Director, choreographer Prabu Deva, who are the leading choreographers in the South Indian film industry.

Sundaram Master is the man behind bringing talented and exceptional choreographers in the South Indian film industry. The legendary choreographer was offered many chances for acting earlier but he declined them all. Now Sundaram Master will be donning the role of a scientist in an upcoming film titled Pa.Ra.

Sundaram Master has won the prestigious National Award for the movie Thiruda Thiruda.
