Choreographer Kalyan Profile

Kalyan who is a famous choreographer in Tamil Film industry comes from a talented background being the grandson of Puliyur Saroja who is a veteran dance master.

Kalyan choreographed his first Tamil film Uyirodu uyiraga with Ajith in the lead. His first big hit was Dina.
He has been successful working in combo with Vikram in movies like Dil, Dhool and Sami. The Kalyanamthan song in Sami is his most memorable achievement. His other recent hit has been the Theepidikka song from Arindum ariyamalum.

Kalyan also choreographed in the Telugu industry.

Kalyan began his acting career playing villain in Kalloori Vaasal Then Manbumigu Manavan  which featured Vijay in the lead

Then Kalyan entered the field of choreography in 1996 and have so far done dance direction for nearly 200 films. But before he entered completely into the choregraphy he had worked with almost all the major stars and directors such as Selvaragavan, Venkat Prabhu, Vishnu Vardhan, Dharani and Priya V.

He even worked as an assistant under various masters such as Chinni Prakash, Thara, Tharun and Puliyur Saroja.
Since then Kalyan has being a choreographer for more than 10 years.
