Choreographer Kala Profile

Kala was the first Top women dance master in Kollywood cinema industry
she was very busy women dancer for variety language film like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Oriya, Kannada etc. and worked over along 4,000 songs.

Kala born in a middle family. She is one of seven daughter in a family. Her sister of famous dance master Brunda also one of the debut Dance master. Kala started her Choreographer dream at the age of 12. Her family cannot encourage her dreams, because of family situation. But also she dream about dance. One day, she got idea for a chance. Her Brother-in-law Raghuram, who is her sister’s husband was a Choreographer.

Kala was the favorite dance master in South Indian cinema field. She was a highly talented person in Choreograph. She impressed everybody in the film industry.. Her dance steps are amazing and impressive.

At the age of 16, Kala got a chance as a Choreographer in the film “Punnagai Mannan” and “Pudhu pudhu arthangal”. In her first film shoots,she made a hit dance in that film, at that time Kala’s name became a Dance Master Kala called by all.

“Pudhu pudhu arthangal” film made the turning points for Master Kala. Then the super hit Directors BharathiRaja,P.Vasu,Manirathnam etc called her for their film Choreographic. Kala worked hard in each and every film. She took 3 shoots per day without rest and became a toppest busy Choreographer in Cinema field.

Her work started from 1994 until now. In her 16 years of her experience ,she got almost every toppest actor and actress, junior and senior dancers, turning to her beats.

Kala’s dance captured many members. She is the first women choreographer to receive National award. She started her Cinematic dance school along five branches. She also popular in Classical dance, Indian folk, Western steps dance. Her brand of dance gave chance for everyone.

Kala was the judge of program Jodi No:1 in Star Vijay, Maanada mayilaada and Odi vilayadu papa in Kalaingar TV. These programs put her best dancer program in television reality shows. She hosting many television shows.

Kala first married to an Actress Sneha’s brother Govindarajan. By family problem, they both divorced. Then Kala got married to Businessman “Mahesh” and she have a son named “Vidyut”.She own a dance school Kalalaya in 1993.
