Telugu film actor Chandra Mohan worked as a comedy, and character artist in many Telugu films. He was born as Mallampalli Chandrasekhara Rao on May 23, 1943 at Krishna district Pamidimukkala Village, has one brother. He studied degree from the agriculture college of Bapatla.

Chandra Mohan’s debut film in Telugu was Rangula Ratnam in 1966, was his first success and later he ventured into cameo roles.though he turned into a comedy actor he proved his acting skills in the serious films like Kotha neeru, sirisiri muvva he even acted in lead roles in films such as Rendrendlu Aaru, Seethamalakshmi, Chandamama Raave, Radha Kalyanam and many more films.

Many heroines who reached the top position in their filmy career like Sridevi in Padaharella Vayasu (1978), Jayaprada in Siri Siri Muvva and others were all started their films working with Chandra Mohan. and had their first big hit film starring with him, which propelled them to become big stars.

Though Chandra Mohan did many films in lead roles, he got more reconition with his supporting roles only.

Chandra Mohan, presently seen in supporting roles in Tollywood films as Father, Uncle and other elderly characters.

He also acted in few of Television serials also.
