Asha Saini a sizzling siren on screen in Telugu and Tamil films.

Asha Saini is an Indian actress and a model who appears in Telugu films. She made her debut with the Telugu film ‘Nuvvu Naaku Nachchav’ in 2001. She has appeared in more than 10 Telugu films so far.

She was detained by the Chennai police last week for submitting forged documents for a US visa. The Madras High Court on Monday gave her temporary retrieve and granted her conditional bail.

Asha Saini allegedly obtained US visa by deceitful for her make-up woman. The embassy officials detected a fraud in the papers and took Asha Saini into custody.
Justice K N Pasha on Monday passed the order on a petition by the starlet, asking her to furnish a personal bond of Rs 50,000 and two sureties of the same amount, including one from her mother.

The judge also ordered the actress to appear daily before the Royapettah police for interrogation.

She should also appear before the SI as and when required, the judge added. According to Asha Saini, a case was registered on the complaint given by the Assistant Regional Security Officer, US Consulate General, Chennai, to the police alleging that Venkata Reddy Gadhe had provided fake documents that were submitted in support of the US visa application file by Srilatha. Srilatha accompanied her to the US consulate claiming to be her make-up woman. Thereby, she was alleged to have attempted to obtain visa for Srilatha by deceitful means affirming Srilatha to be her make-up woman.

It was further alleged that all the three accused, arrested by the police, appeared in the US consulate office for US immigrant visas to visit the US. It was further alleged that their purpose of travel was to take part in a Telugu film industry programme in the US. According to the affidavit filed by Asha Saini, she has been a film actress for the last eight years and had never created or submitted any forged document for the purpose of applying visa.  She has a valid passport from 1997 and been visiting the UK, South Africa, Malaysia, Thailand and Mauritius for film shootings, discussions and cultural programmes   She has acted in more than 17 films in Telugu, five in Kannada, four in Tamil and two films in Hindi. The film units producing her movies at present are  affected due to her arrest and incarceration.  Her career as an artiste is very much at stake due to her arrest. She is innocent and has nothing to do with the alleged offences, she added in her affidavit.
