Aarthi Agarwal is a Telugu actress who was born on January 27th, 1977 in United States, is a American- Indian actress as she was born and brought up in New Jersey. Aarti ‘s entry into film industry was by chance, once she was invited to dance on stage in Nassa Colliseum in New York city, USA by Sunil Shetty asked for volunteers from the audience and Aarti was one among them, when she was barely 14.

Big B who was there too encouraged her father to take her to Bollywood. As a result, she did her first film Paagalpan in Hindi in 2001 but it was not a hit. She stepped into Tollywood. She did her first Tollywood movie Nuvvu Naaku Nachav with Telugu actor Venkatesh in 2001, which was more successful. She became a big craze among the youth with her charisma in Nuvvunaku nachav.

But this seemed to evade gradually- just another example of actresses vulnerability from stardom to failure. She has the rare distinction of being cast with tollywood “top four”-Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna and Venkatesh. She has also acted with young dynamic heroes like Mahesh, NTR, Ravi Teja, Tarun, Uday Kiran and many other Heros.      She has acted in 5 simultaneous movies directed by ace director B.Gopal.  She also
starred opposite Venkatesh for 3 films and all were incidentally good hits. She has got one sister who also stepped into movies is Adithi Agarwal.

In her personal life once Aarti Agarwal attempted suicide by drinking bathroom cleaning liquid due to rumors about herself and fellow actor Tarun. She was discharged from the Apollo Hospital at 1:30pm on the same date in Jubliee Hills, Hyderabad. And once
On February 15, 2006 while she was coming back from dinner to her apartment, she fell while climbing the stairs, but made it to her second-floor apartment, where her father gave her painkillers. When she woke up the next day, her father called a doctor, who advised him to take her to hospital; she then underwent surgery at an hospital in Banjara Hills.
Agarwal was married to Ujjwal Kumar at Secunderabad Arya Samaj on 22 November 2007 and had subsequently applied for divorce in October 2009.
Aati Agarwal has even paired with famous comedian Sunil as hero from Tollywood, she has many hit films she acted like Andala Ramudu, Chatrapati, Sankranti, Adavi Ramudu, Nenunnanu, Palanati Brahmanaidu, Nee Sneham, Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu, Allari Ramudu, Indra, Bobby.
